Your Library Card
Who can get a library card, how to apply, and how to use your library card.
All patrons must have a library card to check out materials from our library. You will be asked to fill out an application card with your name, address and phone number and provide a driver's license as a form of identification.
To obtain an application card, stop by the circulation desk at the library. Children age 5 and up can apply for a card. You will be assigned a number which entitles you to check out books, magazines, CD books, and DVD's.
When you bring an item to the circulation desk to be checked out, the librarian will ask for your card. Books and magazines are circulated for 2 weeks. DVD's are circulated for 2 days.
We have a book drop outside the library for you to use if returning materials during the hours the library is not open. DVD's must be returned inside the library. DVD's have an overdue fine of $2.50 per DVD per day late.
Library materials that have been checked out may be renewed unless someone has a hold on that item. Simply call the library at 275-4550 to renew your materials.
If you intrested in a book that is currently checked out, we can put a hold on that item for you. When the item is returned, we will call and let you know that the item is being held for you.
If a card is lost, it costs $.50 to make a new card.
